Welcome, and thank you for visiting Wit's End Studios.
Hi there, I'm Nina. Great to meet you!
Ever known someone who feels they've dipped their toes in just about everything? That’s me.
As a child and throughout early adulthood, I lived all over the US. I was born in New York City, and moved to my home base of Iowa City, Iowa. Not to settle down in any place for too long, my family and I moved to Los Angeles, California, Gainesville, Florida, and Stony Brook, New York. I have also lived in St. Louis and Cincinnati.
My career, as it turned out, had a very similar trajectory. I started off in the fascinating world of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Iowa, merging the magic of medicine with some pretty cool engineering tricks. But why stop there, right? I then plunged into a master’s degree in electrical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, getting all tangled up with circuits and sparks.
Before I knew it, I was navigating the maze of Illinois’ power grid and swiftly took the driver's seat in Fleet Management. But I'm not just about the techy stuff. I dove headfirst into Direct Marketing, blending my techy side with an uncanny sense for what people dig.
And guess what? I then stepped into the enigma that is Cybersecurity. Guarding your digital treasures? Yup, that's me in the cyber-watchtower! I've also shared my know-how in Higher Education and, just for a little extra spice, became the one to call for Risk Management.
But here's my secret sauce: no matter where I've been, I've always sprinkled in my love for writing, sales, and marketing. It's like adding a cherry on top of everything I do. From my engineering education, I’ve mastered the art of discerning universal patterns across industries. This unique insight empowers me to provide my clients with innovative and streamlined solutions.
When I’m not geeking out, you can catch me cheering on my beloved Chicago Blackhawks or sampling the latest wine around town. And if you're up for a chuckle, you can usually find me at local comedy clubs, cracking jokes and diving into improv. I am an unabashed foodie and a huge animal lover as well.
So that's a bit about me – a tech enthusiast, wine aficionado, hockey nut, and probably the most fun geek you’ll ever meet. Let’s connect.
